| Taking their show on the road, the Westside Panthers traveled North to Dunkirk for an evening affair. The JV team played a strong game once again defeating the Maruaders in a high scoring affair. Graham Davis and Anthony Slaughter led the charge with several long td runs along with a two point catch. In a hard hitting contest the Varsity team held their own going down in defeat. Dunkirk was assisted by the "announcer-coach" and a referee with a chip on his shoulder. After losing their coach late in the 2nd quarter, the Panthers rallied to make the score 19-6 when Matt Hoagland threw a 62 yard bomb to Mike Watson scoring the first touchdown of the year against Dunkirk. Greg Deppas led the defense with 15 tackles as he was all over the field. Cameron Haberberger added 8 tackles while Boe Brooks added five. Wings and refreshments were enjoyed after the game at The Wing City Grill. Although the Varsity lost the game, they showed the never give up attitude which makes up the Panther Pride.
