ARCADE INSURANCE PLAYER RULES
1) When a coach or manager is talking-LISTEN
2) You must sell your Fund Raiser tickets or you WILL NOT PLAY- This is a
league rule- everyone is required to do their fair share.
3) No gum or food in the dugout-WATER OR GATORADE ONLY- I will
address this if you can show you can “handle” the responsibility. Mark your
Gatorade and don’t spill it. If this becomes an issue we will go to water only.
4) Should there be a discipline problem at school and I’m asked to sit you,
YOU WILL NOT PLAY.
5) You are required to show up at practice and games. If you do not show up
at most practices, YOU WILL NOT PLAY-Should you be late or can’t make it you
must call one of the coaches or the manager.
6) No arguing calls-The manager is the only person allow to questions calls
7) Do not throw your helmet, bat or glove THIS WILL RESULT WITH YOU
SITTING ON THE BENCH
8) Hustle at all times-anytime on the field whether in a game or practice
9) Effort-I expect everyone to try and give 100%
10) Swing-Swing-Swing Do not look at strike three. This is a hitters league.
The strike zone is HUGE-swing!
11) Do not criticize your teammates or the players from the other team We
win as a team and lose as a team.
12) Wear your uniform correctly. Hat on strait, long sleeve shirts, grey pants
and a cup. If you forget your cup, YOU CANNOT PLAY! This a league rule and is
checked before each game.
13) No swearing-If this becomes a problem YOU WILL SIT ON THE BENCH
14) Practice when we are not playing-play catch with parents or friends, hit
balls whenever you can.
15) Everyone will bat-if you sit out the inning in the field, you still bat.
16) Stay in the dugout when your not playing-root on your team
17) Bats are expensive-If you use someone else’s bat, be respectful of it. If
you don’t want others to use your bat, put it back in your bat bag after you’ve
batted with it.
18) Show up for games 45 minutes to an hour BEFORE the game starts for
batting practice or infield practice.
19) Clean up the dugout before leaving a game. Every water bottle or
wrapper equals 1 lap!
20) When we have batting cage practice-you must have wear gym shoes-
YOU CANNOT WEAR SPIKES IN THE BATTING CAGE.
21) Spikes are recommended but not required.
22) HAVE FUN-HAVE FUN-HAVE FUN- This is why we are here.
